Between Zittau South (Süd) Station and Zittau Suburb (Vorstadt) Station

By the adjustment of the river Mandau the railway track ran along a temporary wooden bridge (87.5 m long) with leakiness in case of flood. While the adjustment was under construction the professional arrangement enabled the railway traffic. The presentday road and railway bridge was built in 1897. At this section there are lots of half-barriers securing and regulating traffic. Shortly before Zittau Suburb (Vorstadt) the track crosses a road bridge (Humboldt street). The road runs in the direction to the Zittau Mountains (Olbersdorf, Jonsdorf, Oybin).
