The workshop car, as its name implies, served as a track-bound mobile workshop. Especially in Tgb. If a major repair on an excavator decency, was an auxiliary train with water truck, panel truck with various spare parts and a workshop car, directly to the excavator by an electric locomotive pushed. Thus, everything was on site, what the locksmith needed for repair. Today, our workshop trolley not only serves as a workshop but also as souvenir sale and showroom. Like our overburden car, our workshop car was also taken on 9.2.2001 by the daytime facilities of the Tgb. Berzdorf transferred to our exhibition area at Olbersdorfer See.
